ERATH, La. (KLFY) -- A woman was killed while walking on La. 14 just outside Erath Friday night, authorities said. The crash claimed the life of Carol Polk, 35, of Erath. Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a fatal crash just after 11 p.m. Friday involving a pedestrian on La. 14 near Callahan Street in Vermilion Parish.
