After US authorities have once again stopped Empire Wind, Equinor is again threatening that the entire giant project could be canceled.

Empire Offshore Wind LLC (Equinor) has filed a civil suit with the United States District Court for the District of Columbia challenging the order of the United States Department of the Interior ordering the suspension of the Empire Wind project. As part of that case, Empire plans to request a preliminary court order and allow the construction to continue during the course of the litigation.
