In the past few months, the employees of the Lower Nature Conservation Authority had more to do than usual: In January and February, 116 farmers concluded agreements on 441 areas with a total size of about 485 hectares of the Bavarian Contract Nature Conservation Programme (VNP). Almost 250,000 euros were invested in the particularly nature-friendly management in the district of Bad Kissingen.
