Croatia vs England: Line-ups confirmed as Scott makes first start
England have named Alex Scott in the starting XI as both teams seek a key Group A3 result with three points each.
Croatia and England kick off their UEFA Nations League Group A3 clash at 5:00pm BST on Saturday at Stadion HNK Rijeka, broadcast live on ITV1 with coverage beginning at 4:15pm.
UEFA ordered the match played behind closed doors following crowd trouble involving Croatian supporters during a Nations League quarter-final against France last year, with sanctions handed down in May 2025.
Croatian officials expect between 5,500 and 6,000 schoolchildren to fill the 8,200-seat stadium under UEFA regulations allowing children under 14 from schools and academies to attend free, alongside roughly 100 England supporters.
Both teams enter level on three points after two group matches, with England second on goal difference and Spain leading after defeating both sides in Group A3.
Harry Kane has scored in five consecutive matches for club and country as England pursues a third straight victory over Croatia following their 4-2 World Cup meeting less than four months ago.
