U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has intensified its enforcement efforts in Long Island's immigrant communities. Islip Forward, an immigration advocacy group on Long Island, stated that while they previously received about two to three ICE sighting reports per day, this number has increased to six to eight per day, or even more, in the past two weeks.
