The National Assembly adopted on Thursday 5 February a bill to relaunch investment in hydroelectric dams, while a dispute was opened with the European Commission. The text provides for a legal change from a concession to a "authorisation" regime.
After a long line of action with the European Commission, hydroelectric energy could be heavily invested in the coming years. A bill to this end was approved by the National Assembly on Thursday.
