50 incoming freshmen for Georgia Southern University converged on Statesboro this week to take part in the BUILD Program, which involves volunteering at various organizations in the city.

Georgia Southern University assistant professor Wenjie Li is participating in a 10-week fellowship at Georgia Tech to study energy efficiency and materials science. He is joined by undergraduate student Joshua Parker, and together, they will work closely with other research groups on major energy projects.
