Only from the autumn will Energinet dare to start connecting large customers to the electricity grid again, after an analysis has shown that the grid will be under pressure for the next ten years.
Large projects that want to be connected to the electricity grid risk having to wait up to ten years to be allowed to do so, according to a press release from the state-owned company Energinet, which operates and develops the electricity grid.
Energinet is introducing a new model and announces that no connection agreements will be signed until the autumn.
After a three-month break, Energinet still does not have the capacity to expand the Danish electricity grid.
