The regional heat wave across the Netherlands is set to officially end on Monday as cloudy skies and rain move in, according to Weeronline. Showers will return throughout the coming week after a long stretch of sunny and very warm summer weather.
The final weeks of August will in all likelihood be wetter than the first weeks. Weeronline reports that occasional showers will pass over the country. However, the weather agency fears the drought problem will not be solved easily.
