A decree was published on Sunday and is being implemented on Wednesday. As of July 1st, 100,000 students will lose their APLs.

The measure, which is highly controversial, should bring money back to the state's coffers.

On Monday, the Minister of Housing calculated the savings for non-European and non-student non-students related to the abolition of Personalized Housing Assistance (APL) for "nearly 200 million in full years".
