ENCINITAS — Encinitas is gearing up for a night of spooky fun as the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association hosts its 23rd Annual Safe Trick-or-Treat on Friday, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thousands of costumed kids and families will take over downtown Encinitas along South Coast Highway 101, from Encinitas Boulevard to K Street, where local shops will stay open late to hand out candy.
