Red carpet fashion from the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards
On Monday, September 14, 2026, television's biggest stars arrived at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the Emmys 2026 red carpet. Network stalwart Mariska Hargitay, who starred in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" for 27 seasons, is hosting the ceremony.
Leading all series with 25 nods, Noah Wyle and the cast of The Pitt compete against actors from Pluribus and Slow Horses. The ensemble built on four Creative Arts Emmys wins, positioning them for additional honors at the NBC ceremony.
Nominated for her work in Euphoria, Zendaya joined fellow lead actress nominees Quinta Brunson and Elle Fanning on the red carpet. The two-time Emmy winner is also presenting at this year's ceremony.
Host Keltie Knight of "Live from the Red Carpet" opted for a white crop top and pink skirt. Summer House star Ciara Miller, competing on "Dancing With the Stars," also embraced the crop-top trend.
The carpet is peacock blue in honor of NBC's 100th anniversary, which is broadcasting the ceremony. This change from traditional vibrant red marks a unique visual milestone for the 2026 event at L.A. Live.
