- Fellow stars Kym Marsh and Denise Welch offered public solidarity, while Emmerdale issued a warning that AI-generated Facebook pages posting fake news are "extremely hurtful and damaging to reputations."
- Lashing out at the "lies," Riley wrote on Instagram: "THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!! Saying that I'm pregnant again!! How is this allowed it makes me so upset."
