EMGA Arranges US$ 25M Debt Finance for Vietnam’s EVF
The financing will help EVF expand lending to Vietnam’s small and medium-sized businesses and diversify its funding base, EMGA said.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, Emerging Markets Global Advisory LLP secured a US$ 25M debt facility for EVF General Finance Joint Stock Company from the OPEC Fund for International Development .
EMGA's Managing Director Jeremy Dobson noted this transaction adds to their Vietnam track record, marking their first collaboration with a non-banking financial institution in the country.
Managing Director Sajeev Chakkalakal said the deal helps "ensure EVF's continued vision to supporting the SME sector," while also supporting climate action in Vietnam.
EVF's Head of Capital Markets Dinh Ngoc Bao said the company is "pleased to have partnered with EMGA to secure this facility" to diversify its funding base.
Both firms anticipate further cooperation, as the partnership establishes a platform for broader future collaboration to strengthen support for businesses and accelerate economic development.
