Fire crews were called to a serious three-vehicle collision near Little Smeaton on Thursday evening. At around 9.22pm, a crew from Northallerton attended the scene where one person was reported to be trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the casualty, who was then handed over to paramedics for treatment.
