Embattled Superior police investigator resigns

SUPERIOR — A police investigator involved in a civil lawsuit against the city has resigned. Detective Mikayla LeRette resigned effective Sept. 29. Her resignation letter was shared with the Superior Police and Fire Commission during its Oct. 8 meeting. No additional information was provided. LeRette served in the department for 12 years.
