Gianni Infantino said on Sunday that it was FIFA’s job to close the gap between its wealthy members and those that have few financial resources, adding that some prosperous federations did not want others to grow.
Gianni Infantino re-focused on one of the main objectives of his management at the head of FIFA: to make football growth reach all corners of the planet. The Swiss leader met in the Dominican Republic with representatives of the Member Associations that make up the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) and assured that the priority should be to shorten the distance between the strongest countries and those that still seek to develop.
