Findlay says she is not going anywhere after nine MLAs left the caucus and at least two others urged her to resign.
Leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay refused demands to resign during an emergency meeting in Vancouver late Wednesday night, vowing she is "not going anywhere" despite mounting pressure within the Conservative Party.
Since August, Nine MLAs have left the Conservative Party, with defectors raising concerns about Findlay's leadership and the party's direction, depleting Opposition ranks.
MLA Claire Ratt published an essay Wednesday stating she would not "tolerate" Findlay's leadership while the Opposition remains "deeply divided," reinforcing internal fractures.
Amid the internal turmoil, Premier David Eby acknowledged his NDP is "election-ready" and hired a campaign manager, though he has not announced a snap election date.
Later Thursday, Findlay is scheduled to address the Union and Municipalities Convention, marking her first public appearance since the emergency caucus meeting.
