HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, JUL 14 – The Tesla Diner combines 75 Supercharger stalls with a retro-futuristic diner and outdoor movie screens to enhance EV charging and entertainment, Elon Musk said.
- As of July 2025, Tesla has finished building and initiated the soft opening of its retro-futuristic diner, drive-in movie theater, and Supercharger hub located on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles.
- The project began with Musk's 2018 Twitter discussion and gained momentum after breaking ground in fall 2023 amid permitting delays that could push a full opening beyond 2025.
