Elgin lions screen students, plan light parade, and present an international achievement

ELGIN – (Release from the Elgin Lions Club) Eleven Lions were involved with the screening of students from Elgin Elementary. The screening was completed in approximately 1 ½ hours according to President Pat McDonald. It is estimated by Doug Thompson, Chief Executive Officer for the Oregon Sight and Hearing program, that the Lions will serve more than 200,000 students throughout Oregon, and launch the new five-year strategy plan.
