Canadian Electronic Artist Rezz Cancels Coachella Weekend 2 Set over Health Concerns
Rezz said she will upload her Weekend 1 set to YouTube and will miss one fewer Coachella performer after citing health issues.
- On Tuesday, Ukrainian-Canadian electronic artist Rezz, born Isabelle Rezazadeh, canceled her Coachella weekend 2 performance, citing health issues that "need to be addressed."
- After performing at the festival's Sahara Tent on April 11, the 31-year-old DJ explained her body had been "whispering for a while" that she needed a break, yet she "continued to push."
- The artist released her EP A Shift in Perspective days before the festival and promised to upload her weekend 1 set to YouTube soon, noting she is "super proud of" the performance.
- Rezz is one of several musicians who canceled Coachella performances this year; the Lambrini Girls also withdrew after their lead singer suffered a fractured neck and acute brain injury.
- Scheduled to perform at several events this year, the producer will appear at the Breakaway Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, next month and Tomorrowland in Flanders, Belgium, in July.
