Users of the Santo Domingo Metro reported a service interruption Monday morning, causing long lines outside stations on lines 1 and 2. According to commuters, the system stopped operating around 6:30 a.m., a situation that also affected the Santo Domingo Cable Car, causing delays and increased traffic congestion on various roads in the capital. The disruption impacted numerous commuters who rely on both services daily to get to work and school.
