The Spanish market of vehicles closed September 2026 with an increase of 8.6%, thus settling the positive trend recorded in the year in front of the last months. In total 112,879 vehicles were registered, compared to 103,901 registered in the same month of the previous year. With this result, the accumulated between January and September reaches 1,085,925, 6.8% more than in the first nine months of 2025.
The Tesla Model 3 registered 2,528 units in September and was placed ahead of Seat Ibiza and the Dacia Sandero in a record month for electrified cars.
The registrations of electrified vehicles in Spain have closed September with their best record of the year, with Tesla and its Model 3 at the head. 100% electric and hybrid plug-in models reached 34,873 units, but there are still no improvements for their total take-off.
