TCE Ratifies Sanction to Victoria Desintonio for Advance Campaign - Ecuador en Directo

The Electoral Dispute Tribunal (ECT) ratified on May 28, 2025, a fine of $9,000 against Victoria Desintonio, an assembly member of the Citizen Revolution, for carrying out an early campaign during the extraordinary electoral process of 2023. The decision was adopted by the plenary of the ECT with three votes in favour, one in favour, one in favour.

This Wednesday, May 28, the Electoral Dispute Tribunal, ratified the $9,000 economic sanction against Victoria Desintonio, the Assembly member of the Citizen Revolution.
