Lima, 7 Jun (EFE).- Right-wing candidate Keiko Fujimori remains ahead of left-wing candidate Roberto Sánchez with an advantage of 5.02 percentage points, reaching 25.27% of the vote in the second round of Peru's presidential elections. Having counted a quarter of the votes cast on this election day, Fujimori receives 52.51 % of the valid votes when obtaining 2,608,002 ballots, as opposed to 47.49 % of Sanchez, which records 2,358,628 support.
