After remarks against him on CNews, Friday, March 27, the new mayor of Saint-Denis, Bally Bagayoko, announced that he had filed a complaint. He called for an anti-racist "big rally".
"I will very soon take the initiative of a great gathering" against racism and fascism, said the unsubstantiated elected on Saturday, while CNews denied any racist sequence.
The controversy over CNews revives the debate on media racism. After comments deemed offensive to the mayor of Saint-Denis, several elected officials seize the Arcom. The channel denounces a "unfounded" controversy.
