An eight-year-old Dane has died in a car accident in Austria, according to the Red Cross. A 14-year-old Danish girl is seriously injured.

An eight-year-old Danish boy died in a car accident near the town of Stopfenreuth in Austria on Monday evening.
According to the Rotem Kreuz, a 14-year-old and three more people were seriously injured in the accident at the Donaubrücke near Stopfenreuth.

An eight-year-old boy from Denmark died late Monday evening after a car collision near the Danube bridge near Stopfenreuth, part of Engelhartstetten (Gänserndorf district), and Hainburg (Bruck an der Leitha district). A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured, reported Andreas Zenker of the Lower Austrian Red Cross. The girl, who also comes from Denmark, was flown to a hospital. Three other people suffered injuries, some serious.
