- On October 13, 2025 in Hefei, EHang Holdings Limited unveiled the VT35 global debut at Luogang Park, introducing a next-generation long-range pilotless eVTOL.
- The CAAC's acceptance of the TC application reflects progress in certifying the VT35, which aims to create one-hour air mobility living circles for intercity, cross-sea and cross-mountain routes.
- Technical details show the VT35 uses eight lift propellers and one propulsion propeller, offering 125 miles range, 60 minutes endurance, 27 ft length, 26.7 ft wingspan, 134 mph cruise, 440 lb payload and a successful transition flight test.
- Under an RMB 1 billion plan, Hefei will host VT35 headquarters, production and testing, and EHang signed platform company purchase orders and cooperation agreements with Zhejiang Zhiyi UAV Technology Co., Ltd. and Hainan Fuma General Aviation Industry Development Co., Ltd.
- The launch positions EHang to pivot into intercity transport, competing with AutoFlight, Aerofugia and TCab Tech while planning a tilt-rotor model and expanded VT35 product family.
