In an exciting archaeological discovery, experts in Egypt announced the unearthing of unusual rock-cut tombs at Tell el-Yahudiya, tracing back to the New Kingdom and continuing through the Late Period. Above these ancient burials, traces of a Roman encampment were uncovered, highlighting how the location remained significant across multiple historical timelines, illuminating Tell el-Yahudiya's legacy.
Excavations carried out at the Tel Yahudiye archaeological site in the Kalubiye province of Egypt have uncovered numerous rock-carved tombs and portable artifacts of different architectural styles.
Numerous rock-cut tombs have been found in Tel Judea, Egypt, in the province of Kalubiya, Egypt. Nearby portable artifacts, tombs with Roman camp ruins in their surface layers were determined to have been used from the late New Kingdom Period (1550-1070 BC) to the Late Period.
