Dredging starts on Grand Haven's outer harbor

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Crews started dredging operations Friday at the outer harbor in Grand Haven. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says a crew will remove 14,600 cubic yards of sediment from the mouth of the Grand River where winter shoaling tends to accumulate.
