Following the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports' (ŠMSM) submission of proposed recommendations on the use of mobile phones in schools for evaluation, the Lithuanian Students' Union (LMS) supports the presented guidelines. According to the organization's vice-president Melita Mikalevičiūtė, leaving the freedom for each educational institution to decide on specific rules and procedures will better meet the needs of schools.
The measure applies at all levels of basic education, both in public and private institutions.
