Editorial: Me-tooism carries day on data centers

The sudden rush by Ohio politicians to demand a statewide moratorium on data center development is a textbook case of political “me-tooism” searching for a problem that local communities have already solved. Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton’s call for lawmakers to attach a data center halt to Wednesday’s gas tax holiday debate is entirely unnecessary. Local governments are already doing the heavy lifting.
