Edith Barr left an extensive trajectory of more than seven decades dedicated to Peruvian music and was honored on several occasions for her contribution to Creole music.
Edith Barr, an icon in Creole music, died on September 1 at the age of 90 and her daughter was in charge of announcing the sad news on her social networks.
"With his unmistakable voice, talent and passion for our music, he left an indelible mark on the history of the Creole song," reported the National Society of Performers and Music Executors (SONIEM).
