An Edgewood man was killed yesterday when he was hit by a pickup truck. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the incident occurred just after 5pm last evening. 62-year-old Ricky Thurn was standing at the driver’s side door of a UTV parked on Glacier Road when he was hit by the pickup truck.
