Diplomat and writer took the 27th seat at the institution this Friday (27) Diplomat and writer Edgard Telles Ribeiro took office at the Brazilian Academy of Letters on Friday evening (4), at a ceremony held at the institution's headquarters in downtown Rio. He now officially occupies the 27th seat, succeeding the poet and philosopher Antonio Cicero, who died last October.
