Prospect Bank and Preferred Bank have announced a definitive merger between their parent companies, Edgar County Banc Shares, Inc. and Preferred Bancorp, Inc., respectively, which will result in a combined organization with over $750 million in assets and will continue to serve customers from all current locations.
