Quito, 26 Sep (Latin Press) Ecuador's economy grew 2.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, driven mainly by financial activities, trade and manufacturing, indicated a report from the Central Bank (BCE) available today. Ecuador's post Economy grew in the second quarter of 2026 first appeared on News Prensa Latina.
The Central Bank of Ecuador (ECB) reported that the Ecuadorian economy recorded an annual growth of 2.1% in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same period of 2025. The entity indicated that financial and insurance activities grew 12.5% and were the most contributing to the result, with approximately 0.6 percentage points.
