Ecuador’s economy would grow by 2.5% in 2025, according to the Central Bank’s forecast

After a 2024 economic downturn, hit by the energy crisis and other factors, the Central Bank of Ecuador (ECB) expects a recovery in gross domestic product (GDP) in 2025, which would result in growth of more than 2.5%, according to a report published on 31 March.
