The Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is "far from being controlled", warned Tuesday, August 18, 2026 Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), at the second meeting of the Emergency Committee convened since the outbreak was declared last May.
