An Ionia barn was destroyed and some livestock died in a Tuesday morning fire. The Ionia Department of Public Safety was dispatched to 3170 Bradford Road at 8:01 a.m. after the report of a farm/utility building being on fire. The property is owned by Cory and Jennifer Jackson of Ionia, according to Ionia County parcel records.
