EastEnders star shuts down rumours of return after 20 years labelling it 'fake news'

EastEnders star Kacey Ainsworth confirmed she will not reprise her iconic role as Little Mo for the funeral of Zoe Slater, quashing rumors of a return to Walford.
Speculation emerged following reports that Zoe, played by Michelle Ryan, is set to be killed off in upcoming episodes, leading fans to hope for a Slater family reunion.
Ainsworth addressed the speculation on Instagram, labeling the reports 'FAKE NEWS' while admitting it is 'very flattering' that fans still hold the character in their hearts.
Fellow cast members expressed disappointment, with Lauren Branning actress Jacqueline Osborne stating, 'I would give anything for this to be true,' and Ruby Allen star Louisa Lytton writing, 'We are desperate for it though!'
In other casting news, actor Christopher Colquhoun joins EastEnders as Darnell Larson, the newly discovered half-brother of Denise Fox, expanding the show's lineup.
