East Palo Alto advances bond measure for new civic center plaza

The East Palo Alto City Council approved on Tuesday a bond measure that could help fund the city’s first-ever City Hall, library, regulation athletic track and permanent police department, as well as improvements to local water infrastructure, if voters approve the tax in November.
