AUSTRALIA, JUL 24 – South Africa announces squads blending experience and new talent to prepare for 2025 T20 and 50-over World Cups, with Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma leading sides.
- On Thursday, Cricket South Africa announced the squads for their upcoming series against Australia, running from August 10-24 in Darwin, Cairns, and Mackay.
- After resting several regulars for the Zimbabwe tri-series this month, South Africa recalled Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma to resume leadership roles, and said Shukri Conrad, "Their experience and quality add real value to the group."
- Off-Spinner Prenelan Subrayen earned a maiden T20I call-up after his recent Test debut, and Dewald Brevis and Lhuan-dre Pretorius, both yet to debut in ODIs, are included in the squads.
