Natural Lands announced Monday the preservation of a nearly 15 acres of open space in Thornbury. The 14.6 acres of land is adjacent to 26.2 acres of township-owned open space just off Street Road near the Westtown and Edgmont lines. The easement is now held by Natural Lands and was given by Jay Uradnisheck who purchased the property in 1986. He has been restoring it to a more natural state, Natural Lands said in a press release.
