Austria's Judo elite went out empty at the World Cup in Budapest on Monday. The Euro-fifth Lubjana Piovesana first defeated Dali Liluashvili from Russia up to 63 kg, but afterwards had to bend Gankhaich Bold from Mongolia.In the 81 category Shamil Borchashvili collected a defeat against the Belgian Matthias Casse at the start, Bernd Fasching was defeated by Nugzari Tatalashvili, who was fighting for the United Arab Emirates.
At the World Judo Championships in the Laszlo Papp Hall in Budapest, Kaja Schuster defended the Slovenian colors in the 70 kg category and ended the competition after a victory and a defeat in the morning session.
