Children who have been exposed to restrictions on sugar consumption in the first 1,000 days of life, from conception to the age of two, presented, at maturity, a significantly lower risk of developing more forms of cancer, according to a study published in the journal PNAS. Researchers also found that they had longer telomeres associated with slower biological aging, as well as healthier eating habits maintained for decades.
