Monash researchers looked at how sleep habits and sleep fluctuations are related to next-day physical activity. They found that, on average, those who went to bed earlier were more physically active the next day. Next-day exercise was highest following earlier than usual bedtimes combined with a person’s normal number of hours of sleep.
