Dyson Unveils PencilVac and AI-Powered Robot Vacuum Cleaner Spot+Scrub
Dyson introduced 11 innovations, including the slimmest PencilVac with a 38mm handle and AI-powered Spot+Scrub robot vacuum, enhancing suction and cleaning efficiency.
- At a global launch in Berlin, Germany, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, British technology company Dyson unveiled 11 new products spanning home cleaning, air purification, and personal care.
- Pushing miniaturisation, Dyson said its goal is smaller, lighter devices with better performance, achieved through new compact Hyperdymium motors including a 28mm unit spinning at 140,000RPM and variants like the Hyperdymium 140k motor used in PencilVac.
- Measuring 38 millimetres, the Dyson PencilVac cordless vacuum uses a compact Hyperdymium 140k motor and features a hygienic syringe bin ejection system, available in Australia and the UK since August and coming to the U.S. next year.
- Available in Australia and the UK from today, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal launches with U.S. dates unannounced, and a self-emptying dock is due next year.
- The V16 Piston Animal promises whole-home cleaning with 315 air watts suction, anti-tangle brush bars, and 30-day dust bin capacity, while Dyson's AI-powered Spot+Scrub Ai and Clean+Wash Hygiene expand its cleaning portfolio.
