Deputy Tahsildar caught red-handed accepting Rs 70,000 bribe

Hyderabad, 07 June The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Monday caught a Deputy Tahsildar red-handed when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 70,000.   The official, Shaik Javeed, working on deputation with Civil Supplies, Miryalguda, had initially demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from a person to “conduct panchnama report of three seized vehicles in order to get release order from Joint Collector court.”   Javeed later reduced the bribe amo…
