The Gajapade weight training for the Mysore Dasara Mahotsava has begun from today. After performing special puja at the palace, Mahendra the elephant was carried a load of 350 kg and trained on the first day till Bannimantap. Mysore: The rehearsal for the Dasara Gajapade in the palace premises will begin tomorrow (Sept. 6). This rehearsal will be held every morning and evening from the palace to Bannimantap. The elephants will be trained to carry loads from tomorrow itself. We will conduct a training to carry loads for three to four elephants in stages.
